Every watch deserves the best care to be functional for as many years as possible. For the proper care of your watch, we suggest you the following tips:
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with lukewarm (not hot) water and liquid soap, taking care to make the slightest possible contact with its buttons. Wipe with a cloth carefully. You can clean the bracelets with an old toothbrush to clean the recesses. Watches with leather strap should have minimal contact with water and moisture.
Bumps
Avoid any bumps on your watch. A bump may not have obvious damage to your watch at first, but it may cause internal damage that will be seen later. Observe your watch after a bump provided that you have detected a problematic operation (e.g large deviation in time, indicators that move with an irregular step, functions of your watch that do not work properly). After any blow, it is suggested a check from the delegation.
Contact with sea water
It is recommended after contact of your watch with sea water its good cleaning with lukewarm (not hot) fresh water and liquid soap and a damp cloth. Seawater salt can damage your watch flanges and wear bracelet connectors.
Extreme Temperatures
Avoid exposing your watch to high temperatures (above 50 ° C and below 0 ° C), as well as sudden temperature fluctuations. During exposure to extreme temperatures, dilatations and contractions of the watch metals may be observed resulting in wear and malfunction during operation.
We recommend:
- You can keep your watch clean with a soft, dry cloth
- If you do not wear your watch, keep it in a cool and dry place
- If you do heavy manual work, be sure to remove your watch
- Avoid contact with chemicals such as detergents, creams, perfumes, etc.
